Cats can eat snacks after three months. Because kittens are not easy to digest, they can be fed foods containing fat and protein. But do not feed food that is too high in fat. Otherwise, black briquette-like things will appear around the cat's mouth. They are fat particles. The nutrients contained in cat food are relatively balanced. You can let the cat eat kitten cat food first. On weekdays, I mainly eat cat food, supplemented by snacks. Cats are carnivores, so they can eat some boiled chicken breasts, freeze-dried chicken breasts, canned food, etc., and try to feed as few snacks with high starch content as possible.

Things to note when cats eat snacks:

1. Feed the appropriate amount. High-quality cat freeze-dried snacks usually use chicken breast, duck meat, salmon, beef liver, duck liver, egg yolk, Antarctic krill, etc. as raw materials for freeze-drying. Their nutrition is relatively sufficient, whether they are used as supplementary food or snacks for cats. It is not advisable to eat too much at one time, and the amount of food should be adjusted according to the cat’s weight.

2. Feeding freeze-dried food requires adding drinking water to cats. Freeze-dried meat is dehydrated. If you feed it directly to your cat, you need to prepare more drinking water. The cat can also soak the freeze-dried meat in warm boiled water before feeding it, so that it can absorb water, making it easier for the cat to eat and not too dry.
