The black-necked turtle’s IQ cannot be ranked because water turtles have the lowest IQ among turtles. Turtles generally have low IQs, and they cannot differentiate between themselves and others. If the owner of the home often feeds the turtle himself, bathes it, cleans it, plays with it, and interacts with it, the black-necked turtle will get to know the owner over time.

How to let the black-necked turtle know its owner:

1. Ordinary feeding methods cannot make the black-necked turtle trust the breeder, so it needs to be fed when it is hungry. Touch it first, and then feed it. As time goes by, the black-necked turtle will form a reflex and slowly get to know its owner.

2. Before feeding the black-necked turtle, you can use tweezers to hold shrimp meat to lure the turtle to eat, put the turtle on your hand, make eye contact with it, and touch the turtle's head.

3. When raising a black-necked turtle, you need to interact more with it and touch it frequently. This kind of animal prefers to touch its neck, which will make the black-necked turtle feel comfortable.
