Why cats jump from tall buildings:

1. Cats in estrus will be more impatient than usual. When cats see the opposite sex they like, they may become obsessed with it. Jump down.

2. The cat was chasing flying insects and other creatures. It was quite addicted to chasing and fighting, and accidentally jumped from a tall building.

3. Cats may jump from tall buildings if they misestimate the height.

4. The cat is in estrus. It's hard to control your temper when you're in heat.

5. Cats like commanding heights for their own reasons and will often climb to commanding heights.

Why cats are okay if they fall from heights:

1. Cats have strong stretchability. When a cat falls, it will stretch its limbs outward like a parachute. This posture can slow down the speed during the fall.

2. Cats are very soft. The soft body and light weight allow cats to land safely when falling from high places.

3. Well-developed balance system. The cat turns its tail as it falls, and its front toes are ready as it approaches the ground.

4. Complete body protection mechanism. Cats have relatively thick pads on their toes, which can greatly reduce the recoil and vibration of the cat's body against the ground and play a good buffering role.
