Purified water cannot raise fish. Because the hardness of pure water is too low and there is no oxygen and microbial matter, it is easy for fish to have difficulty breathing and die from lack of oxygen. Purified water can be mixed with ordinary water for the propagation of soft water fish. It is best to use tap water that has been exposed to the sun for fish farming. Exposure to the sun can remove chlorine in the water and make the water milder, which is more suitable for fish to survive.

Notes on fish farming:

1. Disinfect and remove chlorine from tap water. Ordinary tap water cannot be put into use directly, and the water must be disinfected and dechlorinated. Nitrifying bacteria also need to be added to the water to treat fish excrement in the water.

2. Feed in moderation. Feeding should be done in an appropriate amount, and the frequency of feeding should be determined based on the appropriate amount of fish to be raised.

3. Change the water regularly. When raising fish, you need to ensure that the water is clean and the water needs to be changed regularly, usually every 7-10 days. Don’t let the water temperature and water quality change too much every time you change the water.

4. Mixed culture conditions. It is recommended to choose fish with similar habits and docile temperaments for mixed breeding.
