Precautions for trimming nails:

1. Use professional pet nail clippers. There are blood vessels and nerves at the base of the dog’s toes. When trimming, do not cut too deeply. Generally, the transparent part at the tip of the nail is cut off, accounting for about 1/3 of the nail.

2. If you accidentally bleed, use cotton wool to help stop the bleeding. If your dog reacts excessively to nail cutting, it is still recommended to send it to a pet hospital for trimming.
