Reasons for Arowana not eating:

1. Frightened. Although arowanas look domineering, they are easily frightened. If someone speaks loudly or taps the fish tank, they will be frightened.

2. Indigestion. If the arowana is fed too full, it will cause indigestion, which will lead to the arowana refusing to eat, and it will also be accompanied by the phenomenon of the arowana lying down in the tank.

3. Environmental changes. If the water temperature or pH value in the fish tank changes too much, the arowana can clearly sense it, so it will make some stress responses.

4. Improper feeding. If you feed immediately after changing the water, the arowana will refuse to eat. Generally, arowana needs to stop eating on the day of water change, and can be fed again on the second day of water change.

5. Single food. Feeding the same food for a long time will lead to unbalanced nutrition of the arowana, which will also affect the growth and hair color of the arowana. A single food for a long time will also cause anorexia and refusal of the arowana.

6. Suffering from disease. If the arowana is sick or has problems with its internal organs, it may refuse to eat.
