There are generally three situations when cats bite:

1. Kittens who are just born like to explore the unknown world around them by smelling and biting.

2. Cats may become more fond of biting people and things during the period of teeth replacement and teething.

3. When the cat is frightened or attacked.

Prevention measures for cat biting:

1. Buy some toys for the cat, such as a carpet set for sharpening claws and a hanging ball that can move. Let your cat play with toys such as toy mice until it gets tired and loses the energy to catch you.

2. Pretending to scream in pain is also effective. When a cat scratches its owner, scream in pain, then ignore it and don’t play with it. Most cats don’t like to hurt their owners, so they will pay attention. When the owner is unhappy, it will be careful not to bite the owner. Or simply ignore it and let the cat realize that it is too crazy and the owner is unhappy.

3. Use the method of spraying water. When the cat wants to bite you, use a prepared water gun or sprinkler to spray the cat with water. After a few times, the cat will stop biting you. Dare you pounce and bite anyone again.
