The red-clawed hand crab will not recognize its owner. Its intelligence is not high. The Hand Crab is usually just for viewing. It has no feelings for its owner and will not interact with it. Pet crabs are timid and highly vigilant. They will hide when their owners approach them. They like to stay in dark, damp and cold environments. They can usually be kept in a cool place indoors.

Precautions for feeding the crabs:

1. The water used to raise crabs must be dried before they can be used. You can add some sea salt to the water appropriately when using.

2. The palm crab is an omnivore, so during the feeding process, attention should be paid to nutritional balance. You can feed some high-protein insects, such as mealworms, wheat worms, and millet worms, and occasionally some vegetables, such as fruits, small fish, shrimp, etc.

3. The food intake of the hand crab must be controlled, usually within half an hour as the standard. Never feed too much at one time, and the food must not contain oil or salt.

4. In terms of living environment, you can prepare a tank with sand and gravel at the bottom of the tank. Place sand and gravel at the bottom of the tank, or place some sunken wood, which not only looks good but also allows crabs to crawl and play on it

5. Clean the water tank in time and change the water in time to ensure it is hygienic and clean.
