Cataracts in cats can be treated in their early stages. Cataracts in cats are caused when the lens of the eye loses its barrier effect, causing the lens to become cloudy. This causes the lens to be partially or completely opaque, preventing light from reaching the retina. If left untreated, it can cause vision loss or even blindness in cats.

Treatment methods for cat cataracts:

1. Antibiotic therapy and nutritional supplementation can be used, such as using anti-inflammatory pills for cats, or steroids and non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs reduce eye inflammation, but this treatment is conservative and less effective.

2. There is also a surgical method to completely treat it. The operation needs to scrape out the turbidity in the cat's eyes, remove it together with the lens, and then install a new lens.
