How to cool down hamsters in summer:

1. Use metal heat sinks. Place it at the bottom of the cage, or use equipment such as "hamster ice sofa" to place it in the hamster cage so that the hamster can always feel cool.

2. Reduce sawdust. The amount of wood chips in the cage should be appropriately reduced. There is no need to spread too much wood chips, just enough to cover the bottom of the cage.

3. Use ceramic nests. Ceramics are generally cool and will be very comfortable for hamsters to sleep in, or you can put a glass cup in there and use it as a temporary nest for your hamster.

4. Enjoy the coolness of the stone. You can also put some rainstones, pebbles, marbles or ceramic tiles in the cage for the hamster to lie on and enjoy the coolness. You can also put these stones in the refrigerator for a period of time before placing them in the cage.

5. Cool down with ice water. It is more convenient to fill water in plastic bottles and freeze it and place it around the cage, or buy bottled mineral water directly. As the ice cubes in the bottle slowly melt, they will emit cool air and the hamster will feel cool.
