1. If the dehydration is not serious, oral nutritional solutions and hypertonic liquids can be used for rehydration to prevent dehydration.

2. In the case of mild dehydration, glucose solution can be injected subcutaneously into the cat’s neck or back for rehydration.

3. In the case of severe dehydration, a large amount of intravenous solution is required for rehydration to prevent dehydration from being life-threatening.

4. For severe dehydration, intraperitoneal injection of isotonic or slightly hypotonic liquid can be used for rehydration.
