Guinea pigs can grow to 20-25 centimeters and weigh about 2 pounds. When guinea pigs are 1-3 months old, their weight is mostly about 210-450 grams. When they are 4 months old, their weight is mostly about 500-550 grams. When they are 6 months old, their weight is mostly about 600-650 grams. At 7 months of age, the weight is mostly about 650-700 grams. At 8 months of age, the weight is mostly about 700-750 grams. By 11 months of age, the weight of both males and females is generally about 850 grams.

1. guinea pigs are social animals. When purchasing guinea pigs, it is best to buy two or more guinea pigs of different genders. Pig raising allows the guinea pigs to have companionship with each other.
