What are the characteristics of a purebred German Shepherd?

Characteristics of purebred German Shepherds:
1. Head characteristics. The head of a male shepherd dog is obviously strong, while the head of a female shepherd dog is particularly soft. Viewed from the front, the dog's forehead is arched and the head is slightly tilted, giving it an elongated appearance.
2. Neck characteristics. The neck is strong and muscular, well defined and relatively long, in proportion to the head and free of loose skin. When it is concerned or excited, the head is raised and the neck is held high.
3. Waist and hip characteristics. Viewed from above, broad and strong. The croup is long and gradually sloping.
4. Characteristics of limbs. The limbs should be thicker, the gait should be steady, and the forelimb pads should be warm, cool, soft and moist, not hot, dry or hard. A healthy dog should be in good spirits, have active and flexible limbs, and have no bows or knees.
5. Tail characteristics. The hair is thick and the tail vertebra extends at least to the hock. The tail should be lowered like a saber, with the head forward and the tail slightly upward, with a straight and extended movement.
6. Characteristics of coat. German Shepherds have a double coat that makes their entire body look very smooth. The outer coat looks thick and hard, but the inner coat is soft and can keep out the cold like wool.
7. Color characteristics. The coat of a purebred German Shepherd is all black, with a layer of cloudy black fur on the back and face; in addition, the German Shepherd's breast ribs are allowed to be white, but this is not ideal; the German Shepherd's undercoat should be Light gray, no second color allowed.
