How many days can a hamster survive if it escapes?

A hamster can live up to 7 days if it escapes without food.
But if you can find food outside, it may not be in danger for the time being. However, domestic hamsters only need food to open their mouths. Their survival ability in the wild is very poor, and they may die in about a week.
If you encounter natural enemies, such as eagles and cats, they are likely to die within two days of going out, especially in places where there are many cats. If you can't find anything to eat, you will starve to death.
Methods to prevent hamsters from escaping:
1. Choose a relatively large hamster cage to allow the hamster enough space to move.
2. Let the hamsters out to play regularly to make them feel free.
3. Prepare more toys and put them in the cage to consume their energy and reduce the chance of escape.
