Cats can take a bath 7 days after receiving the second injection. Cat vaccines are divided into two types: inactivated vaccines and attenuated vaccines. Inactivated vaccines are relatively safer, while attenuated vaccines are more risky for weak cats and may induce potential diseases. Therefore, in order for cats to better survive the side effects of the vaccine after vaccination, it is not recommended to take a bath immediately.

Precautions after the cat is vaccinated:

1. It is recommended to observe the cat in the hospital for 30 minutes after vaccination to see if there is any serious allergic reaction.

2. After returning home, observe the cat’s recent eating and drinking conditions, whether its mental state is getting worse, whether its body temperature has increased, etc.

3. During the observation process at home, be careful not to move or have new animals appear in the home within 1 week. Otherwise, the cat will have a stress reaction and feel scared and nervous, which will lead to immunity. Decreased immunity may lead to immune failure in cats in severe cases.

4. Do not bathe the cat within seven days after vaccination.

5. Unless there are special circumstances, try to avoid taking cats out.

6. It is not advisable to do strenuous exercise in the short term, and do not play with the cat too much during this period.

7. Write down the cat’s vaccination date, and follow the doctor’s instructions to vaccinate on time.
