For otitis media caused by a cold in dogs, first clean the dog’s ear canal with saline, then clean it again with saline containing antibiotics until it is clean. Dip the medicine into a cotton swab and apply it near the ear canal. Take anti-inflammatory drugs according to the dog's weight and the doctor's instructions. Wear an Elizabethan collar to prevent your dog from scratching his ears and causing bleeding.

Symptoms of otitis media in dogs:

1. Increased ear canal secretions, and purulent secretions may appear.

2. The ear canal is itchy, and the dog scratches frequently, causing redness and swelling of the outer ear.

3. Due to neurological damage caused by otitis media, the dog's head tilts to the affected side and appears to move in circles.
