Symptoms of dog throat inflammation:

1. Acute throat inflammation manifests as listlessness, salivation, anorexia, difficulty swallowing and breathing, retching, and elevated body temperature. Open inspection reveals bilateral or unilateral tonsils that are flushed, edematous, and covered with mucus or pus.

2. Chronic throat inflammation is mostly transformed from acute inflammation, manifesting as cough, vomiting, reflux and rhinorrhea.

Measures to deal with dog throat inflammation:

3. People with severe inflammation and difficulty swallowing can be fed soft food and liquid food, or intravenous infusion to supplement nutrition.

4. In the early stage of acute throat inflammation, cold compress can be applied to the neck. For coughs and sore throat inflammation caused by colds, in addition to feeding anti-inflammatory drugs, you can also give your dog Pet Da Gan Ke Ling, which is a powerful antitussive and eliminates throat inflammation.

5. For recurrent throat inflammation, during the remission period, surgical removal of the dog’s glands may be considered.
