Among the pet factions, cats need the most careful care, so how can we take better care of cats? Korat cats, also known as silver cats, have always been considered auspicious animals. It is native to the Khao Lat Plateau in northwestern Thailand, and its output is very rare. The fur color is silver-blue, the eyes are large and green, the face is particularly heart-shaped, and the body shape is not as slender as a typical exotic short-haired cat.

Before deciding to raise a Korat cat, you must prepare all the supplies that the Korat cat needs for life. You can go to a specialized pet supply store to buy it, or of course you can do it yourself according to your own interests and hobbies.

1.Cat nest. Homemade boxes can be made in wooden boxes, plastic boxes or cardboard boxes, but they must have enough area so that the cat can straighten its legs. The bottom of the nest is padded with straw or paper scraps, newspapers, and then covered with waste towels or old sheets, blankets, chair cushions, etc. to keep the cat's nest warm and comfortable.

The cat's nest should be placed in a dry, secluded place that does not attract attention. It is best to be exposed to sunlight and cannot be placed in a cold and humid place. The cat's nest should be several centimeters above the ground to keep it dry, clean, and cool. The bedding in the cat's nest should be replaced and cleaned frequently to keep it clean and odor-free. The bedding should be increased or decreased appropriately with the changes of the seasons.

2.Cat food utensils. Includes food and drinking bowls. The texture is required to be solid, the bottom of the basin must be heavy, and the edges of the basin must be thick. Prevent the cat from knocking over the food plate or drinking water basin when standing on the edge of the plate (basin) to eat or drink. Generally, ordinary plates should not be used as food dishes or drinking water basins. Some cats have the bad habit of leaving food out of the food plate when eating. Therefore, it is best to place waste newspapers under the food plate to facilitate cleaning and keep the floor clean.

3.Cat litter box. Cat litter boxes made of plastic or enamel containers are convenient and easy to wash, and are not prone to rust and breakage. Wooden boxes and cardboard boxes are not suitable for use as bedpans. To facilitate cleaning and hygiene, the bottom of the litter box should be paved with about 5 cm of ashes, sawdust or a mixture of sawdust and sand. These loose materials are easy for cats to bury with their paws after defecation. However, the particles of the litter should not be too fine, otherwise it will stick to the cat's coat and cause the cat's body to be unclean.

In addition, a small amount of baking soda can be added to the litter to eliminate the smell of cat urine. Bedpans and bedding should be washed and changed frequently. When cleaning the basin, avoid using irritating or special-smelling detergents, otherwise the cat will not like to use it to relieve himself next time. Now, there are special cat litter products on the market. Use caution if using disinfectants as some are harmful to cats.

4.Cat toys. Cats, like children, like toys very much, especially round rolling things such as rubber balls, string balls and balloons. Cats like to move and don’t like to be quiet. Therefore, you can hang some fluttering ribbons, paper strips, cloth strips, etc. indoors, such asIf you prepare a few small moving toys, it will arouse the cat's great interest. Cat toys can be made yourself, as long as you and your cat find them interesting. Sometimes the owner can play with the cat for a long time with a rope.

5. In addition, you should also prepare cat bathtubs, combs or claw sharpeners and other items.
