I often see friends around me complaining that their cats have some oral problems, but they don’t know how to deal with them. In fact, cats can also brush their teeth, so I will introduce a simple and easy way to brush their teeth. Give your cat healthy teeth and fresh breath.

1. First, you can train your cat to accept the habit of brushing its teeth. Start by gently stroking your cat's gums with your fingers. At first, only the outside is wiped, but when the cat has adapted to this behavior, it can also open its mouth to wipe the gums inside. When your cat gets used to it, you can wrap your fingers with gauze and brush its gums.

2. Prepare toothpaste and a finger brush for brushing. A toothbrush can also be used, but please look for softer bristles! The finger brush is made of soft rubber and is flexible! You should be able to buy it in pet stores! This comes with toothpaste. When I bought it, I put it on my right index finger and brushed it! When I put it on my finger, the cat would hold it on its back or slightly on its side! This makes it easier for it to struggle or attack itself out of anger! Then put the toothpaste on the finger that has just been squeezed out. Put the brush set on your dominant finger or the finger that you think is the best to apply force! Then use your left hand to prepare to open the cat's lips.

3. The correct way to brush your cat’s teeth. Put the toothbrush between the teeth and gums at a 45-degree angle, and rotate it in thin circles on the teeth. Then brush up and down to wipe away the tartar from between the teeth. Repeat this step until the tooth surface is clean. Brushing the inside of the teeth can be difficult because your pet will resist opening its mouth, but you should always be able to reach both the inside and outside of the teeth. Brush your cat's teeth twice a week to keep them clean.
