The bald hair on the kitten's nose may be normal seasonal hair loss, and it only needs daily cleaning and care. It may also be folliculitis. Check to see if there are red spots or black substances in the hair loss area. If there is, wipe it clean with tea, apply erythromycin eye ointment, and seek medical treatment in time. If cat moss is caused by fungal infection, it needs to be treated with medication and cleaned every day to keep it clean.

Common causes of baldness in kittens:

1. Food allergy. Some cats are allergic to fish and small poultry, or to certain additives in cat food.

2. Infection with cat ringworm. If a cat is infected with tinea felis, the cat will be bald, and the bald areas will be complicated by scabs, dandruff, and itching.

3. Parasites. If you do not deworm your cat regularly and there are fleas on your cat, the cat will scratch its skin because it is too itchy, resulting in bald hair.

4. Excessive grooming. Some cats will groom themselves excessively when they feel stressed or have obsessive-compulsive disorder, resulting in hair loss or baldness. If your cat suffers from this kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder, it is best to wear an Elizabethan collar to prevent it from licking its own hair.

5. Endocrine disorders. Endocrine disorders in cats will cause baldness on the sides, abdomen, and hind legs. This requires a blood test to confirm. If it is caused by this reason, you don’t need to worry, the cat will usually recover on its own.

6. Special period. When cats are in special periods such as pregnancy, estrus, lactation, childbirth, recovery from major illness, treatment, etc., they may also suffer from mental hair loss due to stress.
