Cat mastitis does not necessarily mean that each breast is inflamed. Cat mastitis may be inflamed in one nipple or multiple nipples. Generally divided into acute, chronic and cystic mastitis. One or more nipples begin to harden, and secretions may appear when the nipple is pressed with hands.

The treatment methods for cat mastitis are:

1. Acute mastitis in cats is generally treated symptomatically. In order to relieve inflammation, you can use some antibiotics and glucocorticoids. Sometimes you can also apply some Ichthyostatin ointment around the breasts to dissipate inflammation.

2. If there is suppuration, you need to find a pus outlet to drain the pus. After draining the pus, rinse the outlet and clean the wound before applying medicine.
