Symptoms of roundworms in dogs:

1. Sick dogs become emaciated, have pale mucous membranes, lose appetite, vomit, and sometimes develop heterophilia, with diarrhea first and then constipation.

2. The coat of sick dogs is rough and dull, and sometimes neurological symptoms (epileptic spasms) occur.

3. The growth and development of puppies infected with roundworms are retarded and the abdomen is enlarged. A large number of parasites can cause intestinal obstruction and are sometimes naturally excreted in the feces.

4. Sick dogs have heterophilia, digestive dysfunction, palpation, and abdominal pressure on the intestinal tube. When a large number of parasites are parasitic, the intestinal intussusception boundary can be felt. There are symptoms of abdominal pain, and the affected dog barks from time to time. When intussusception or obstruction occurs, the dog's general condition worsens and the dog fails to defecate.

Measures to prevent roundworms in dogs:

1. Regular deworming. Puppies should be dewormed for the first time when they are 20 days old, and once a month between 1 and 8 months old. Adult dogs should be dewormed twice a year. Usually timely deworming based on fecal test results. While deworming the puppies, you should also deworm the nursing bitches to achieve better results.

2. Keep the environment, tableware, and food clean, and remove feces in the kennel in a timely manner.
