After changing the cat litter, you can mix the old and new cat litter together for the cat to use, so that it can better accept it. On the first day, put less of the newly purchased cat litter, and after two days of use, add some more, and so on until all is replaced with new cat litter.

Things to note when changing cat litter

1. Don’t make the gap too large. If the cat is used to bentonite sand, if you change it to tofu sand rashly, the cat may not be able to adapt to it. And if the cat likes unscented cat litter, if the cat litter is replaced with scented cat litter, the cat may not go to the toilet in the litter box.

2. Choose high-quality cat litter. Owners must not be greedy for cheap and choose cat litter that is dusty and poorly clumped. This will not only cause trouble for themselves to clean up, but may also cause the cat to get sick.

3. Clean the cat litter box regularly. In the process of raising cats, be sure to change the cat litter regularly and clean the litter box to allow the cat to slowly adapt to the new cat litter.
