How to rehydrate your dog after dehydration

1. Give your dog some drinking water, and your dog will slowly recover.

2. If the dog has diarrhea without vomiting, sugar water or glucose can be used to replenish water.

3. If dehydration is caused by vomiting, intravenous or subcutaneous rehydration is recommended.

Symptoms of dehydration in dogs

1. Due to severe dehydration, the elasticity of the dog's skin decreases, and the saliva in the mouth becomes sticky.

2. The paws will gradually become cold. If this happens, it means that the dog is moderately or severely dehydrated.

3. Dehydration will cause a sharp decrease in the dog’s blood volume, leading to abnormal blood circulation in the dog.

4. It cannot provide enough oxygen and energy to the body, leading to multiple organ failure in dogs.
