Cats cannot be thrown away directly after death, as they will pollute the environment and transmit viruses. The best way is to cremate them and then bury them. Especially cats that die from infectious diseases, if discarded at will, may cause other stray cats to become infected with the disease, and some stray dogs will eat the cat corpses.

The correct way to deal with the cat after death:

1. Bury. You can find a remote open space away from water sources, then dig a one-meter deep pit and bury the cat in it.

2. Cremation. Because it is generally not possible to "burial" cats in big cities, they are usually cremated and then buried. Especially for cats that die due to infectious diseases, cremation is the most correct choice.

3. Give it to community personnel. Nowadays, many residential areas and communities have agencies that help residents dispose of pet corpses. They can choose to hand over the cat corpses to relevant community personnel.

4. Make specimens. This practice is relatively common abroad. Most cat owners can't stand their cats leaving them, and will use special treatment methods to keep their cats by their side.
