Cats can eat 1/3 of a piece of pork liver at one time. Pork liver is rich in iron and vitamins, which can supplement cats’ nutrition, promote their growth and development, and enhance their night vision ability. However, it is not advisable to overfeed cats, as it can easily lead to vitamin A poisoning, lameness, tooth loss and other diseases. In severe cases, it may lead to kidney failure and death of cats. Therefore, cats should be fed pork liver in an appropriate amount, 1-2 times a week.
Precautions for feeding pig liver to cats:
1. Raw pig liver may contain parasites. You must not feed raw pig liver to cats. It must be cooked before feeding to cats. .
2. Do not add any seasonings to the pork liver fed to cats, so as not to affect the cat’s health.
3. If the cat eats too much pig liver and develops vomiting, diarrhea, lameness and other adverse symptoms, take it to the pet hospital for treatment in time.
