Cats go into estrus 2-4 times a year, usually from March to May and from September to November. Female cats usually come into heat for the first time early when they are four or five months old, but some cats may come into heat later. The estrus period of male cats is generally later than that of female cats, and they first go into estrus when they are six or seven months old, but there are also a few male cats who go into estrus at four or five months old. It takes about a week from the start of heat to the end.

Cat estrus care tips:

1. Artificially control the cat’s food intake, you can appropriately reduce the cat’s food, so that the cat cannot reach a completely satisfied state.

2. Increase the cat’s activity, play with the cat more, and use toys to divert attention.

3. Provide the cat with some of its favorite foods.

4. Cats’ estrus is affected by light. During the cat’s estrus period, indoor lighting can be reduced as much as possible to reduce the symptoms of the cat’s estrus.

5. Make sure the doors and screens at home are always closed to prevent cats from getting lost or falling from the building.
