The correct steps to start brushing your dog’s teeth:

1. Spread your lips. Hold the dog's muzzle and spread the lips on both sides to facilitate cleaning of teeth and gums.

2. Brush in circles. After squeezing the toothpaste on the toothbrush, try to put it between the dog's teeth and gums at a 45-degree angle and scrub in circles.

3. Brush up and down. By brushing up and down, remove tartar from between the teeth until the tooth surface is clean.

4. Brush along the gum line. Cleans the gum line where plaque and tartar are concentrated.

5. Rinse with water. After the brushing is completed, rinse the dog's mouth with clean water to remove foreign matter and toothpaste.
