Kittens can urinate and defecate on their own in about a month. How to teach a kitten to go to the toilet

1. It is a cat’s nature to bury feces. Generally, cats know how to bury cat litter, and the mother cat will also give it to her herself. The kitten demonstrates how to use cat litter correctly.

2. If the mother cat is not around, the owner needs to teach the kitten to go to the toilet. About ten minutes after the kitten has finished eating, the owner can put the kitten into the litter box. Repeating this action frequently can make the kitten familiar with the location of the litter and the litter box.

3. Until the kitten excretes in the litter box, the owner can grab the cat's front feet, gently turn the litter, bury the excrement, and then reward the cat with food. The cat will learn it after repeating it a few times.
