The cat litter should be spread about five centimeters and should be changed about once a week. Don’t put too little cat litter, as too little will easily stick to the bottom or fail to achieve the best effect. Put too much, and it will be easily scratched everywhere by cats. Generally, it should not exceed half of the edge of the cat litter box. When the cat litter has a peculiar smell or fails to function, it must be cleaned in time.

How to change cat litter:

1. Use a cat litter shovel to scoop up the cat litter and cat's excrement together. Then gently shake the cat litter scoop left and right to let the clean cat litter leak out, and then pour the remaining excrement in the cat litter box into the trash can. If it is soluble cat litter, it can be flushed directly into the toilet.

2. After shoveling out all the excrement, lift one side of the litter box and shake it left and right to check whether there is any excrement stuck to the bottom that has not been shoveled out, and then try to remove as small impurities as possible. Shovel it out.

3. Then add an appropriate amount of new cat litter to prevent too little cat litter in the litter box from sticking to the bottom, and finally use a cat litter shovel to spread it evenly.
