Golden Retrievers need to pluck their ear hairs. Because the golden retriever's ear canal is covered with abundant ear hairs, the ventilation environment of the ear canal is very poor. If it is not cleaned frequently, dirt will easily accumulate. In severe cases, it will cause ear mites. Once water or dirt enters the ear hairs, it is easy to inflame the ear canal and sometimes become infected with ear mites.

Steps for plucking golden retriever ear hair:

1. Wrap cotton around the hemostat. Tear off small pieces of cotton from the medical cotton and wrap it around the hemostatic forceps to prevent the hemostatic forceps from damaging the dog's ears when clamping the ear hair.

2. The dog lies on its side. Soothe your dog and let him lie on his lap or anywhere he feels comfortable lying on his side.

3. Pour in the ear hair removal powder. Pour a small amount of ear hair removal powder into the dog's ears, and gently rub the ears to evenly cover the auricles.

4. Plucking hair. Use a hemostat to clamp the small ear hairs and pull them out quickly. After most of the ear hairs are pulled out, the remaining soft hairs can be pulled out directly with your hands.
