Improper folded-eared cats will develop the disease. As long as the cat carries the gene for folded ears, even if it is not a purebred cat, it will develop the disease. However, the symptoms of impure cats with folded ears will be slightly milder than those of purebred cats, and the onset time may also be later. Symptoms of cats with folded ears:
