Causes of bronchopneumonia in dogs:

1. Cold. If a dog catches a cold, it will directly cause bronchopneumonia in the dog, and the dog will continue to cough.

2. Secondary causes. If your dog is infected with some lung diseases or a minor cold, if it is not treated in time, it will further cause bronchial infection in your dog.

3. Parasitic infection. Dogs have thick hair, which provides a good entry point for parasites. Some parasites have larval migration, and they will migrate to the dog’s bronchus and cause bronchopneumonia.

Treatment of bronchopneumonia in dogs:

1. Antibiotic treatment, inject different doses of antibiotics according to the dog’s weight, mainly to eliminate inflammation.

2. Intravenous injection. 5% glucose saline and 5% sodium bicarbonate injection are mixed for intravenous injection to supplement the dog's nutrition and improve the body's resistance.

3. Symptomatic treatment. If the dog has symptoms such as coughing and sputum, it needs more targeted medication. You can use some phlegm-reducing and asthma-relieving drugs, and you can also use atomization.
