Chinese garden cats can eat shrimp. Shrimp meat is rich in protein, astaxanthin, vitamins and amino acids, and has very low fat content. It can supplement the nutrients needed by the cat's body and improve the cat's immunity. However, you should feed your cat an appropriate amount of shrimp, do not add salt or other seasonings when cooking, and be careful to remove the shrimp shells when feeding.

Precautions for Chinese garden cats to eat shrimp:

1. The shrimps fed to cats should be fresh shrimps, not spoiled shrimps. When cooking, the food should be cooked thoroughly to prevent the cat from being infected with parasites, and no salt and other seasonings should be added, otherwise it will increase the burden on the cat's kidneys.

2. It is better for a cat to eat 1-2 shrimps a day. If the cat has a large appetite, it can feed three shrimps. Feeding too much at one time can cause indigestion in cats. Frequent overfeeding of shrimp will increase the burden on the cat’s kidneys and may cause urethritis.

3. When feeding shrimp to cats, it is recommended to eat only shrimp meat and remove the shrimp shell, shrimp head and tail to prevent scratching the cat's esophagus, gastrointestinal tract or causing gastrointestinal blockage.
