Cats can take medicine by eating bananas. There is no effect if you take medicine after eating a banana, because the ingredients in the banana will not affect the medicine and will not work, so taking the two together will have no effect. However, there may be incompatibility between some drugs. You can read the instructions for each drug. It is clearly written at the back which drugs cannot be taken together.

Precautions for cats taking medicine:

1. Usually when prescribing medicine, the doctor will ask the owner whether he wants pills or potion. The solution can be injected into the mouth through an eye drop bottle, and the tablets are placed on the back of the tongue.

2. Of course, for safety reasons, the cat’s nails will be cut first to prevent it from scratching people.

3. Tablets or capsules can sometimes be ground into powder and mixed into food. However, cats are very sensitive to smells, so direct feeding of medicine will be more effective.
