Alaska is a large sled dog. According to the standards of the American AKC Kennel Club, the standard shoulder height of a large dog is over 61cm and the weight is over 30kg. The standard shoulder height of Alaskan Malamute males is 63.5cm and that of females is 58.42cm. The male weighs approximately 38kg and the female approximately 34kg. Therefore, Alaskan Malamutes are large dogs.

How to raise Alaska?

1. Feeding: Generally, it is best to feed dog food mainly in the early stage. In the later stage, you can mainly feed some cooked meat, so that Alaska can grow well.

2. Combing the hair: Alaska’s hair is relatively long, and dust can easily stick to it, so we need to comb its hair so that its body will not be particularly dirty.

3. Bathing: When Alaska is relatively young, bathing once a month is usually enough. Later, bathing twice a month is enough.
