It is normal for Border Collies to have 2 to 3 bowel movements after eating two meals a day. This is because Border Collies have relatively large appetites and can eat a lot, so if they eat more at each meal, they will have more bowel movements. It is recommended to feed these two meals once in the morning and once around 6pm, and take the dog out to defecate about half an hour after the meal.
