The difference between myelitis and neuritis in dogs

The symptoms of dog myelitis and neuritis are very similar. Inflammation of the nerves in the dog's body is collectively called neuritis. Myelitis is one of the neuritis types and can become a systemic disease in severe cases. Dogs have no obvious reaction in the early stage of myelitis. They will suddenly become ill at a certain time, scream and become unable to walk. They will be relieved for a while and return to normal. Muscle necrosis will occur within a short period of time and may lead to paralysis in severe cases.
