If the number of protozoa infected in the cat is not large, there may be no acute symptoms. If you find that your cat has a low fever, diarrhea, or blood in the stool, you must isolate the cat in time.

How to treat feline coccidiosis

Some cats will recover naturally because of their strong immunity. However, kittens and old cats that lack immunity must be sent to a pet hospital for treatment immediately. Delay in treatment may lead to the death of the cat. Conventional deworming cannot kill coccidia. Generally, deworming requires continuous medication for one week to ten days.
