Cat distemper is a highly contagious viral disease. Cats in general will be infected, but the time cannot be accurately estimated because each cat has a different physique and is infected with the feline distemper virus at a different rate. If the cat is in good health and has been vaccinated, it is less likely to be infected with feline plague. If the cat is in poor health and has weak immunity, it will be infected quickly.
