Causes of bald hair around the cat’s mouth

1. Redness, swelling and hair loss caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites, etc. Observe whether there are scabs around the cat’s mouth , dandruff, tinea spots and other symptoms. If you have the above symptoms, the owner should promptly perform external deworming on the cat and treat the cat with erythromycin ointment or miticide spray.

2. Due to fighting, the kitten’s mouth will have obvious wounds. It is recommended to disinfect the kitten with iodophor first, and then temporarily isolate the kitten from other cats.

3. Due to the stimulation of the surrounding environment, inflammation and hair loss around the cat’s mouth are caused. In this case, anti-inflammatory drugs should be used around the cat’s mouth.

4. If allergies cause hair loss, it is recommended to take the cat to a pet hospital for desensitization injections.
