This state is a manifestation of gastrointestinal indigestion. It mostly occurs in dogs with fragile gastrointestinal diseases, or dogs eat too fast or eat large amounts, which causes the gastrointestinal tract to be unable to adapt, resulting in diarrhea that is green in color. In addition, the large amounts of vegetables and other green foods that dogs have eaten recently may also cause dogs to appear in this state.
