When a female dog is in estrus, her vulva will be somewhat swollen, and a small amount of black-red blood will drip from the bottom of her vulva. When the dog bleeds, it is best to mate around 11 days after it bleeds. Or about 2-3 days after the dog's vaginal discharge changes from red to yellow, you can mate. In order to ensure that the female dog can become pregnant, it is recommended to mate 2-3 times.

Dogs are in seasonal heat, usually twice a year, in spring and autumn. It is best for dogs to undergo a comprehensive examination before mating. Do not feed the dog too much before mating to prevent the dog from vomiting during mating. Dogs cannot be bathed before or after mating until the puppies are born to avoid miscarriage of the female dog.
