It is not recommended that owners treat dogs with parvovirus on their own, otherwise the disease may be delayed and the dog may die. Generally, a test strip test is required, followed by symptomatic treatment and corresponding treatment methods.

For dogs with vomiting, diarrhea, and bloody stools, antivomiting, diarrhea, and hemostatic drugs need to be given. Inflammation in dogs needs to be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs. Treatment against parvovirus requires the use of monoclonal antibodies and viral interferon.
