This is normal for dogs, and some animals may naturally roll their eyes while sleeping. If the dog behaves normally, it may be caused by the dog entering a state of deep sleep. Normal dogs will not have other abnormal symptoms when they roll their eyes.

If your dog has discharge from his eyes, it may be an eye disease that causes his eyes to open while he sleeps. You can consult your pet doctor for an eye examination. If the dog is lying on the ground, its limbs are stiff, twitching and rolling its eyes, and then returns to normal after the twitching, it is possible that the dog has epilepsy and needs long-term medication to control it.
