Pud-like nasal discharge in dogs is usually caused by bacterial infection of the respiratory system, or a combination of viral and bacterial infection. If the purulent nasal discharge is simply caused by bacterial infection, it needs to be treated with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory antibiotics. In severe cases, aerosol treatment is required. If the purulent nasal discharge is caused by a mixed infection of viruses and bacteria, the specific viral pathogen needs to be determined, and then targeted antiviral drugs and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs should be used for treatment.
