The early symptoms of parvovirus in puppies include listlessness, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. The puppy will also have a rise in body temperature, which can easily be mistaken for a cold or fever. It is recommended that if a puppy shows fever symptoms, it should be tested with parvovirus test strips for timely treatment.

After suffering from parvovirus, two measures, causative treatment and symptomatic treatment, are required. For symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, antiemetic and antidiarrheal injections are required, as well as anti-inflammatory treatment. Interferons and monoclonal antibodies are needed to target viruses.
