Characteristics of dog scratch wounds

Dog scratches will have obvious scratch marks, and in severe cases, they may even bleed. There will be severe pain when being caught, and the pain will continue to increase when the wound fluctuates. After being scratched by a dog, disinfect and clean the wound immediately. Then go to the nearest epidemic prevention station to get vaccinated against rabies within 24 hours. Even domestic dogs need to avoid risks.

What to do if caught by a dog

1. Wash the wound with 20% soapy water for 20 minutes, disinfect it with iodine, and then go to the hospital for a rabies vaccine injection.
2. If it is a domestic dog, make sure it is not infected with rabies and still need to be vaccinated. After all, human life is at stake. Instead of feeling anxious and uneasy during the 10th day of observation, it is better to go directly for the injection and feel at ease.
