It is best not for dogs to eat potatoes

Dogs can eat sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes do not belong to the Solanaceae family and do not produce toxins such as solanine, so dogs can eat them with confidence. Sweet potatoes contain carotenoids, which are antioxidants that are very beneficial to dogs’ health. Carotenoids can be converted into vitamin A, which can enhance the dog’s immunity and improve the function of the retina of the eyes. Sweet potatoes also contain a substance called adiponectin, which can regulate the metabolism of insulin in dogs. However, although sweet potatoes are good, they should be eaten in moderation. Dogs eating too much can easily cause indigestion, flatulence and inability to defecate.
