Adverse reactions after vaccination with rabies vaccine

Individual recipients may experience pain, erythema, edema, itching and induration at the injection site, accompanied by mild fever, chills, syncope, weakness, headache, joint pain, muscle Pain and other transient symptoms.
Very few patients experience allergic reactions such as rashes and urticaria.

Is it still useful to inject rabies vaccine after 24 hours?

In principle, the earlier the better, if more than 24 hours have passed, the vaccine can be injected as usual. For people who have been exposed for several days and months but have not been vaccinated against rabies for various reasons, as long as the vaccine is available, they should be vaccinated as soon as possible like newly exposed people, so that the vaccine can take effect before they become sick.
